Grasses possess "KRANTZ ANATOMY" in their leaves and have "C-4 CARBON FIXATION CYCLE". C-4 cycle is environment friendly coz unlike C-3 cycle, C-4 cycle RE-FIX the carbon di-oxide. In this way grasslands are able to cope with CLIMATE CHANGE. THUS, WE MUST PRESERVE THESE LANDS.
